Evil Dead: The Musical
(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) The gory and campy classic tale of an unholy grimoire and five idiotic college students, EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL, returns for its fifth season in Middle Tennessee this October.
Based on Sam Raimi's series of 80s cult classic films, EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL unearths the old familiar story; a boy and his friends take a weekend getaway to an abandoned Tennessee cabin and instead of getting lucky, the boy unleashes ancient evil spirits and must fight until dawn to survive.
As musical mayhem descends upon this sleepover in the woods, campy takes on a whole new meaning with uproarious numbers such as "All the Men in my Life Keep Getting Killed by Candarian Demons", "Look Who's Evil Now" and "Do the Necronomicon".
An interactive performance, EVIL DEAD: THE MUSICAL thrusts the audience into the bloody world of Candarian demons with a Splatter Zone in the first few rows of seating. Seating is a first come first serve basis and all audience members are encouraged to wear clothes that can get wet and possibly stained with red dye as the venue size may encourage blood spray to go beyond the first few rows occasionally.
